1. How can Resort
Solutions assist our sales and marketing efforts?
Sales and Marketing costs in our industry constantly challenge
decision-makers to develop strategies to maximize profitability.
Resort Solutions seamlessly integrates sales and marketing
processes to build efficiencies that elevate success rates.
It all starts with lead generation and the design of marketing
programs that can be honed to specific target audiences,
calibrated to achieve maximum success, and monitored to
evaluate effectiveness. The distribution of these marketing
programs automatically schedules tasks (e.g. telemarketing
calls, the mailing of marketing materials, etc.) on the
work lists of employees entrusted with those responsibilities.
When the baton is passed to sales, all pertinent customer
and marketing information is transferred, eliminating
the unnecessary duplication of work. Similarly, the information
gathered during the tour process (e.g. a list of employees
eligible for commission) is shared on the contract. Other
efficiencies spill over into the commission, member servicing
and financial accounting areas. It is this synergy that
makes Resort Solutions the software of choice among industry
leaders.

2. Does Resort
Solutions support multi-currency organizations?
Resort Solutions accounting and inventory architecture
is designed from the ground up to meet the challenges
of today's multi-currency business environment. Inventory
can be priced in any currency the organization chooses
to support. This allows contracts to be written in the
owner's preferred currency. When the organization is setup,
a base accounting currency (currency in which financial
bookkeeping is maintained) is declared. If required, the
ledgers and accounts of the organization's business entities
can be maintained in completely different currencies.
In addition, receivable accounts can be setup to accept
payments in currencies other than the base accounting
currency of the business entity or organization. Fully
adjustable exchange rates convert the financial transactions
from the payment currency into the account's base currency.
Adjustments using exchange rates are also performed between
the base accounting currencies of the business entity
and organization.

3. Reports are
critical in our day-to-day operations. Does Resort Solutions
come with built-in reports?
ISS understands the comfort level most organizations have
with their in-house reports. Resort Solutions has a number
of reports to choose from and a reporting capability,
which often exceeds the requirements (and expectations)
of most organizations. For those not included, we offer
reporting tools that allow clients to re-create their
favorite reports using the data stored in the database.
Resort Solutions interfaces with popular third-party reporting
tools such as Impromptu
from Cognos®.

4. Why is a
site visit recommended?
Before the installation of Resort Solutions, all clients
receive a personal site visit. During the visit, our team
of business analysts goes through an extensive checklist
to learn about the customer's business policies, procedures,
and operating environment. ISS works closely with every
customer to analyze their business requirements and tailor
the system before going live

5. How does
Resort Solutions cater to the way we do business?
Our team of industry experts researched the industry and
authored an extensive list of business rules to oversee
resort operations. Before installing the application,
ISS works with our customers to determine which rules
to enable and the correct rule settings for each. Some
customers have complicated requirements that require five
or six rules per policy, while others manage with one
or two. Most rules include parameters that allow you to
tailor the rules to meet your specific requirements. Best
of all, if your requirements change, little effort is
required to correct the business rule. This flexibility
allows you to customize Resort Solutions without altering
the program code and demonstrates our unique, business
driven approach to resort management.
